RE/MAX Realtor Lisa Taylor Helping Kids Reach their Goals On and Off the Lacrosse Field

RE/MAX Southeast Realtor Lisa Taylor will be supporting and participating in the Denver City Lax Mile High Gala on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High - United Club from 6 to 9 p.m. This is the signature event to kick off the 2017 lacrosse season.

“I am very happy that my son Jake Taylor and one of his best friends, Anders Erickson, have taken such a strong leadership interest in City Lax. They love coaching and mentoring these kids and are dedicated to making a difference. City Lax is empowering kids in Denver who might not otherwise have the chance to play organized sports,” said Taylor, who donates to the fundraising event every year.

The mission of the Denver City Lax Mile High Gala is to raise funds and create educational and enrichment opportunities for youth in underserved Denver neighborhoods through the sport of lacrosse. Last year’s Gala assisted Denver City Lax in offering more kids more opportunities than in any previous year to date.

“This is an outstanding event and every year it warms my heart to read the letters from the kids who benefit from this fundraiser. The money raised helps fund athletic equipment, training camps, and mentoring by professional lacrosse players like Eric Law of the Denver Outlaws who has been instrumental as program director in the success of the City Lax organization. These kids are so grateful to City Lax for the huge impact that Denver City Lax has had on their lives,” concluded Taylor, whose son is on the City Lax advisory board. “I also love that the high school kids are helping the youth and donating their time. It’s a life-changing opportunity to be a part of.”
