RE/MAX Realtor Peggy Reed Celebrates Diamond Anniversary in Real Estate

RE/MAX Alliance is proud to announce that Peggy Reed recently celebrated her thirtieth anniversary in real estate. “It has been an honor to guide so many buyers and sellers through one of the most important financial and lifestyle changes in their lifetimes,” said Reed. “It’s very rewarding to know that I’ve made a difference in their lives.”

During the past three decades, Reed has accumulated an impressive amount of testimonials from loyal clients. “We have worked with Peggy Reed on six real estate deals,” said Jeff Salzman. “Peggy is prompt, efficient and always does what she says she’s going to do. She’s unbelievably organized and never misses a detail. Peggy is not only kind and empathetic, but strong. She’s a smart lady who knows real estate – and this town – inside and out.”

After graduating from Indiana University, Reed taught kindergarten in Bloomington, IN, while her husband earned his doctorate in business. They moved to Boulder in 1965 where Reed taught kindergarten in Boulder Valley Schools before beginning her real estate career in 1986. She enjoys spending time with her two children, John Bowen, who lives in Vermont with his wife, Kristen, and three sons; and Kelley Davis, who lives in Oyster Bay, NY, with her husband, Chris, two sons and a daughter.

“Growing up in a family where my dad was a professor and VP of Indiana University, and my mother, grandparents and sisters all had advanced degrees, education was revered; so, naturally, it rubbed off on me,” said Reed. “I’ve continued to learn about all aspects of real estate in order to give my clients the very best in real estate service.”

Reed has earned the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), Seniors’ Real Estate Specialist (SRES), proficiency in using Internet technology (e-PRO), and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). Since joining RE/MAX Alliance in 1991, she has been awarded the designations of RE/MAX Hall of Fame and the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award.

In 2014, Reed moved to Anthem Ranch, a beautiful community for active adults 55 and older. “Being familiar with Anthem Ranch, as well as similar communities in the greater Denver area, I especially enjoy helping seniors find the right community they’d love to call ‘home,’” said Reed.

In addition to being a full-time Realtor, Reed is the owner and founder of Hidden Doors by Design, a company that sells meticulously crafted hidden door bookcases. “We’re proud that our hidden door bookcases received the Best of Show Award at the 2014 Denver Home Show,” concluded Reed.
