Since 2013, I have worked as a Licensed Real Estate Consultant, working primarily with buyers and sellers in the greater metro area markets. I achieved a real appreciation for what buyers look for at every level, whether first time home-buyers, step-up buyers, or those looking to downsize and find the right home for their retirement. In addition, my experience as a licensed real estate assistant for a local broker and project manager for a national market research firm taught me the ins and outs of how to successfully list and market a home to get the best price in the shortest amount of time possible. There is a real process and strategy involved with marketing a property, and my time “behind the scenes” AND “in the field” gives me a true picture of what is needed for a successful sale and closing from a seller’s perspective. In addition, my depth of real estate knowledge includes managing bank-owned property listings–a job requiring focus, attention to detail, organization, adherence to strict guidelines and timeliness. I understand the foreclosure process, which is a real benefit not only for buyers, but also for sellers to see how foreclosures in their area can affect their property value.
