Syracuse attorney Joe Stanley, of The Stanley Law Offices, LLP, raises funds for the hungry and homeless through annual Music for the Mission chili cook-off.
Joe Stanley, founder of The Stanley Law Offices, LLP, recently raised over $1000 through his charity’s (Music for the Mission’s) 6th annual chili cook-off, benefiting the hungry and the homeless. “I’d like to give a special thanks to Randy and Chris, owners of Happy Valley Inn, and all the amazing patrons who donated and come back each year,” said Stanley. “And a huge shoutout to Lee Martin and The House Rockers as they donated 100% of their band’s pay to Music for the Mission for the second year in a row. Proceeds from this, and similar events, help fund our Mini-Grant program, which funds local organizations and projects who directly work to end homelessness and hunger in our communities.”
Music for the Mission organizes and sponsors local events to benefit homeless and hungry populations throughout central New York. Fundraised dollars are redirected to nonprofit organizations engaged in critical service provision to those in need of nutritious food and safe shelter.
Furthermore, in honor of World Hunger Day on May 28, 2017, Music for the Mission is putting together partnerships with area organizations and restaurants where donations will benefit people fighting hunger and homelessness in central New York. “For any restaurants wanting to create a promotional and fundraising package or musicians who would like to donate any proceeds from their events on or around World Hunger Day, we have promotional packages that we can collaborate and create together,” concluded Stanley.
