Sandoval, a Colombia native, immigrated to the United States in 1996, where he settled in Miami. Sandoval received his Bachelor’s degree with high honors from Florida International University with a major in International Relations and a minor is Sociology. He later received his law degree with honors from the University of Florida and a certificate in International law.
