Florida Realtor Stacey Glenn Collecting Toys for Hospitalized Children

Realtor Stacey Glenn, of Team Stacey at Royal Shell Real Estate, hosts holiday toy donation drive for Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. 

Fort Myers, FL

Stacey will be collecting toys for Golisano Children’s Hospital from now until December 9. Toys can be dropped off at Royal Shell Real Estate, 1870 Clayton Court, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Donations can be delivered 7 days a week, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12-5 p.m. 

“Drop by our office and donate an unwrapped toy,” said Stacey. “Please consider the impact you can make on the life of a child at Golisano Children’s Hospital this holiday season. If you have any questions, you can reach me at 239-823-1343.”

The mission of Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is to deliver vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. Many of the toys donated this holiday season will be used to support the hospital’s annual Snow Pile Event, where parents and caregivers can select toys and gifts for free for their hospitalized children and siblings.

Toys needed include: for infants and toddlers — pop-up toys, light-up toys, teething toys, rattles, toy phones, baby pianos, and crib soothers (music boxes); for preschool -- Hotwheels/Matchbox cars, Play-dough (name brand only please), balls, action figures, markers, Crayons (small packs preferred), pretend play toys and dollhouse-sized figures; for school age -- Lego sets, colored pencils, harmonicas, action figures, Barbies, board games, craft kits and playing cards; and for teens -- new release PG-13 DVDs, advanced craft kits, over the door basketball hoops, earbud headphones, Playstation 4 games (rated Teen), nail polish/nail art, plain T-shirts to decorate and gift cards for iTunes, GameStop, Walmart or Target. 

For children with sensory processing disorders, developmental delay and Autism, items needed include: weighted blankets, stress balls, sound machines, textured (tactile) blocks or balls and light spinners.
