Wicked Good Cupcake’s first franchise cupcake truck hits the road for the Sweetwater GearFest.
Wicked Good Cupcake’s first franchise cupcake truck will be at the 2018 Sweetwater GearFest on June 22, 2018, 5501 US Hwy 30 West Fort Wayne, IN 46818 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
When Tracey Noonan and her daughter Dani Vilagie started baking in the home kitchen in Cohasset, MA, never did they dream that they would quickly become a national brand, let alone franchise their business. But thanks to an appearance and subsequent deal from Kevin O’Leary of Shark Tank fame, that’s exactly what happened.
And as fate would have it, it was another mother-daughter duo who are the first folks to dive into the world of cupcake jars.
“We’re thrilled to have Amber and Sandi join our Wicked Good family. It’s exciting to see how well received they’ve been, but even more exciting to know that they’re two women with a dream who are absolutely killing it,” said Noonan.
Sandi Bubb and daughter Amber Quinn-Elliott are from Fort Wayne, IN, and know the value of hard work combined with a winning brand.
"We absolutely love being a Wicked Good Cupcakes franchisee!” said Sandi. “Fort Wayne has welcomed us with open arms and everyone gets so excited when they see the truck pull up. We feel blessed that Fort Wayne, IN, was picked to have the first ever food truck of Wicked Good Cupcakes! What a complement to our city!"
"Sandi and I definitely see ourselves expanding Wicked Good Cupcakes and hope to have another truck on the road within a year!” added Amber. “We chose to have our grand opening at GearFest because it brings people together from all over the World! We are excited to welcome Tracey and Dani, the co-founders of Wicked Good Cupcakes, to Fort Wayne and see their dream of franchising come to fruition!"
The grand opening ceremony will take place at the Sweetwater Gearfest on Saturday June 23rd. Tracey and Dani, the founders of Wicked Good Cupcakes will be in attendance and help sell their delicious cupcakes in mason jars as well as meet with the Gearfest attendees.
“We’re super excited to be a part of Amber and Sandi’s special day” said Dani Vilagie. “We wouldn’t miss this for the world.”
Amber hopes Mayor Tom Henry will be in attendance. “We’d love to have Mayor Henry stop by and have a cupcake jar (or two) with us. That would be really special.”
