Antoinette Middleton, founder of the Law Offices of Antoinette Middleton, recently announced the firm, which focuses on probate and estate planning, is marking its fifteenth year offering legal services. “Our success and longevity can be attributed to a dedicated team and a passion for educating seniors and families about the importance of making estate planning a priority,” said Middleton.

In addition to its fifteenth anniversary, the Law Offices of Antoinette Middleton over the past three years has conducted several private and public estate planning workshops. “I’m always thrilled when participants state that they’ve learned a lot and also had fun at our workshops,” said Middleton.

Two areas Middleton is passionate about is reducing the number of seniors and dependent adults who become victims of elder and dependent adult financial abuse and reducing the number of families who lose their homes to Medi-Cal estate recovery. She views these two areas as serious threats to family security due to the nation’s rapidly aging population and the rise of Alzheimer’s.    

“Protection is best achieved by encouraging seniors and families to work with qualified and verified legal and financial professionals, and to start early,” said Middleton. “Our goal is to continue educating families on the importance of early estate planning to consist of an advanced healthcare directive, a will, durable power of attorney, and in many cases a living trust.”
