Property Manager Calia Mynuk Commemorates 30 Years in Real Estate

Nevada Broker-Salesman Calia Mynuk, of Reiss Properties, marks thirty years managing properties and resolving rental issues in Las Vegas and working for one of the most respected companies in the industry.

“Working for a company this long gives credibility to the company in general. You don’t just work under a brokerage; you work under their rules, policies and code of ethics,” said Mynuk, of Reiss Properties. “Tenants that don’t want to be responsible for their charges tend to bad mouth landlords and it is always good to be connected with a good, longtime, upstanding company, such as Reiss Properties. We are known for our above-board reputation.”  

The property management department at Reiss Properties had approximately 150 residential properties when Mynuk took over as the Designated Property Manager in 2000 and upgraded her license to Broker-Salesman. “I doubled that figure within 2 years,” she added. “My Property Management division has never had a formal complaint or grievance from the Nevada Real Estate Division or the Board of Realtors, nor have I, personally.”

Mynuk is revered for her quick response to all emergencies or maintenance in general and has a longstanding working relationship with her vendors. She is also very quick in responding to all rental inquiries. “Several of my tenants have used my services once they became homeowners and needed someone for full-service property management,” noted Mynuk. “I am a full-time salesperson, as well. I have assisted in purchasing and selling properties for my clients within many price ranges.”

The company was founded by Ronn Reiss in 1980, and every year the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors gives out the Ronn Reiss Award to one Realtor for educational excellence and leadership. His sons, Michael and Devin Reiss, run the company now. Devin has served as the Vice President of the board and then the President of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
