REAL Trends Ranks Realtor Sharon Hodnett in the Top 1,000 in the Country

REAL Trends identifies the country’s largest and most successful agents and firms ranked by closed transaction sides and separately closed sales volume. This ranking is done in partnership with The Wall Street Journal.

“This is an exciting accomplishment for me that took nearly 30 years,” said Hodnett, founder of Team Hodnett at Keller Williams Southlake. “My mother taught me the real estate business in 1989. I started out humbly, working out of her small independent office.”

Hodnett’s mother also taught her that putting in a full day's work would pay off and that sales is all about customer service. Because of the strong work ethic instilled by her mother, Hodnett, during the course of her distinguished decades-long career, has also been named one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents in North Texas. Furthermore, Team Hodnett is a proud recipient of the “Pulse of the City” award for outstanding customer service. Hodnett was also recently featured in Architectural Digest and “O” Magazine, the magazine published by Oprah Winfrey.

No stranger to awards, Hodnett was recognized as one of the Best Real Estate Agents in Dallas in 2018 by 360 West Magazine, D Magazine, HomeLight’s Top Seller’s Agent in 2018, and a Five Star Real Estate Agent in 2019 by Five Star Professional, Texas Monthly. Less than 1 percent of the nation’s agents qualified for this award, and 455 agents were chosen from over 54,000 total agents. Furthermore, in 2018, she was selected to America’s Top 100 Real Estate Agents®, which is by invitation only and is reserved to identify the nation’s most esteemed and skilled real estate agents and brokers with a history of routinely selling homes above market value. In fact, Hodnett averaged getting her clients 1 to 4 percent over the asking price over the last year.
