Sircles Kicks Kickstarter Campaign into Gear to Fund Positive Recommendations Social Media App

Today, Sircles, whose mission is to be a positive force for positive interactions, launched its Kickstarter Campaign to help fund the launch of its positive recommendations social media mobile app coming later this year.

Unlike other reviews-based platforms that show a rating system and negative reviews from strangers, Sircles allows people to find businesses and entertainment based on recommendations from friends and people the user trusts. Since there are no negative reviews, there is nothing negative. Sircles, which believes caring is sharing, was built on the premise of bringing positivity back to social media.

The team behind Sircles hopes to raise $20,000 within 37 days through its Kickstarter Campaign to help bring Version 2.0 to fruition by September 2019 on both Apple and Android. The rewards include early access to the beta Version 2.0, verified blue check mark, a special invite to the launch party, and more.

“Sircles is going to be the next big thing!” said Jason Tartick from ABC’s The Bachelor. Sircles will be a new social platform for users to share content with their friends and followers and get rewarded for sharing.

Founders John Worthington and Todd Fiore, who are also the co-founders of Tech 2U, were inspired to create Sircles after Tech 2U, and like many small businesses, fell victim to review sites. One such review site hid more than 200 5-star reviews, thus showcasing some fake and negative reviews lowering their total score. John and Todd were on a mission to change the landscape for finding businesses and to take on the social media giants by creating a transparent and positive experience based on recommendations from friends rather than reviews from strangers.
