Cantrelle's Martial arts is a family owned Kenpo Karate Studio. We have been operating since January 2007 teaching Kenpo Karate to our local community. For nearly 11 years, we operated as FKKA#1 San Jose. Cantrelle's Martial arts was born in June 2017 to serve the community we live in with our unique brand of Kenpo Karate and Self Defense. Our talented staff of Black Belt Instructors provides self-defense training to men and women of various ages.
The studio is owned and run by Professor Dave Cantrelle (6th Degree Black Belt). He offers more than 45 years of martial arts experience that began in 1970 with his first instructor Robert Wilson (Judo & Kendo), and later with the FKKA (Kenpo Karate). These many years of experience allow us to bring a unique and extremely effective perspective in self-defense to our students.
Mrs. Becky Cantrelle (4th Degree Black Belt) co-owns and teaches daily and is instrumental in the day to day operation of the studio. She is a dedicated partner, excellent instructor, and talented martial artist. We pride ourselves in bringing quality martial arts and a sense of community to all of our members. With us, you are not just a student, you are family.
Personal private lessons are being offered to select students. Private lessons are held once a week at the convenience of the student and instructor. Private lessons are considered by the studio to be special classes designed to promote students with detailed information at a faster rate.
Cantrelle's Martial Arts provides one free introductory class at no cost or obligation to the general public. The free class is geared toward introducing people to our Academy, and Kenpo Karate.
