Denver Realtor Athena Brownson Takes ‘The American Dream’ Viewers on Tour of Union Station

The episode of “The American Dream” featuring Athena is scheduled to air on Thursday, December 12 (season 6, episode 10), at 7 p.m. In her segment, which will be the 5th time she has appeared on the show, Athena discusses why the Union Station neighborhood in Denver is ideal for investment properties, and takes viewers and a potential buyer on a tour of two of its upscale units.

In this episode, she is joined by special guest Charlotte Durham, owner of Charlotte and Co. Real Estate in Bozeman, MT, who used to live in Denver, and Athena’s business partner Kate Vollmer, who currently lives in Union Station.

“I invited Charlotte to show her two condos which would be a great second home/investment property for her in Denver,” said Athena. “As they are centrally located in the much sought-after and highly appreciating Union Station neighborhood in downtown Denver, Charlotte would have an easy time renting either unit out at least 6-9 months out of the year. The Union Station area is ideal because there is a light rail directly to the airport, as well.’”

Union Station has been an iconic area of the Mile High City for almost 150 years, greeting visitors and shuttling Denverites amidst a constantly changing downtown skyline. Furthermore, quickly evolving Union Station is bustling with new office buildings, restaurants, bars, a massive new Whole Foods, gyms, shopping and a plethora of desirable investment properties.

“The building we showed Charlotte has amazing amenities, including a gym and rooftop pool,” noted Athena. “The first condo is a 1-bed, 1-bath unit with white quartz counters throughout, solid hardwood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows.  It is absolutely gorgeous.”

The second condo is a 2-bed, 2.5-bath unit just over 1,300 square feet. “Natural light floods in due to the floor-to-ceiling windows and the high quality finishes, such as the quartz counters and solid hardwood floors are beautiful,” concluded Athena. “Our episode ends with us having a drink at Terminal Bar inside historic Union Station, where we close out with Charlotte thinking about a possible offer and fantastic investment opportunity.”
