Keller Williams Premier Partners raises funds for and donates manpower to people affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Hurricane Harvey was a devastating force in Texas, dumping over 50 inches of rain, which is a record from a tropical cyclone in the continental United States, and causing catastrophic flooding. It also caused the deaths of at least 70 people, and left countless homes severely damaged.
In an effort to assist victims of Hurricane Harvey, Keller Williams Premier Partners is donating relief funds, and sent a team to Texas to assist with relief efforts. Nineteen people from Keller Williams Premier Partners, some of whom brought their spouses and friends, met up with thousands of other Keller Williams Realty International personnel in Texas to support relief efforts.
“We have a deeply entrenched culture of giving back. It was a perfectly natural evolution for the leadership of Keller Williams Realty International to convert our largest training event of the year into our largest relief effort to date,” said Patti Siebold, owner of Keller Williams Premier Partners. “It warms my heart to see how many amazing individuals within our company answered this call to serve.”
Keller Williams personnel de-mucked houses by sweeping them out, taking off wet and moldy sheet rock, and working with residents of homes to get damaged belongings out to the street for the city to pick up. Additionally, Keller Williams volunteers put together supply kits for families, helped at a Houston food bank, and stocked a supply warehouse.
Furthermore, Keller Williams is raising millions of dollars nationwide to prepare to help with relief from other hurricanes, including Irma, Jose, and Maria. To help Keller Williams with its hurricane relief efforts, please visit kwrelief.org/.
