Kian Finance Authority StandsUp for Homeless Youth in Miami via Donation Drive

South Florida accounting and tax professional Ferey Kian, of Kian Finance Authority, spearheads summer donation drive for StandUp For Kids to help feed and clothe homeless youth in Miami.

Hollywood, FL

Kian Finance Authority is hosting a donation drive from May 28-June 24, 2018 for StandUp For Kids Miami, whose mission is to end the cycle of adolescent homelessness and empower homeless and at-risk youth toward lifelong personal growth.

“We are collecting hygiene items and nonperishable food for homeless youth in Miami,” said Ferey Kian, CEO of Kian Finance Authority.

Items needed, which can be dropped off at Kian Finance Authority, 2012 Hollywood Boulevard, Suite B, Hollywood, FL 33020, include bus passes, water bottles, juice boxes, snacks, socks, tissues, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, sunscreen, and packets of wet wipes.

StandUp For Kids Miami was founded in 2004 with street outreach that operated by car and by foot to reach youth who might not otherwise know about or trust other programs and services to get back on their feet. In 2007, it began a mentoring program, in 2008 an outreach center, and in 2009 founded a task force to address youth homelessness and bring a coalition of providers and advocates together across Miami-Dade County.
