“Miami is rapidly developing and while growth is good, we see artists and small businesses being displaced,” said Bachan, “You can’t have an arts district where there are no artists or if it’s too expensive for artists to thrive there. I want to connect tourists to the small businesses and creatives of the city, as they are the soul of Miami.”

In addition to providing affordable accommodations for travelers, Inhabit International will host artist residency programs, promote small businesses and artists through tours and experiences offered to guests, and curate community events. Bachan, who recently hosted SEN5ES, a 3-day multiformat art event during Miami Art Week, will use her experience in real estate and vacation rentals to source appropriate properties and investors whose visions are aligned with hers.

“After this grows in Miami, I hope to bring it to other cities. I love to travel and I believe that when we travel we should not only take from the culture and experiences, we need to give back as well,” concluded Bachan.
