Nathan Abbott Team Raising Funds to Help Families Who Have Kids Fighting Cancer

The Nathan Abbott Team, a top-producing real estate team in Northwest Florida, is teaming up with Impact Emerald Coast for its Hoops for Hope benefit on Saturday, August 4, at 1 p.m. at Northwest Florida State’s Raider Arena, 100 College Blvd., Niceville FL.

“Impact Emerald Coast is truly making an impact for local families and children facing life challenges. We fully support their campaign as they are improving children’s lives throughout our community,” said Nathan Abbott, founder of the Nathan Abbott Team.

The annual Impact Emerald Coast Hoops for Hope event brings together former Choctaw and FWB High School basketball greats. The purpose is to raise funds for families who have a child battling cancer and to raise awareness in the community. All proceeds benefit four deserving local families battling cancer.

The mission of Impact Emerald Coast is to lead students to a greater understanding of their role in having a positive impact in their communities through community service projects and character development training. In order to help Impact Emerald Coast fulfill its mission, the Nathan Abbott Team makes monthly contributions to the organization.

“It is extremely humbling to have the support of The Nathan Abbott Team. It is only through the support of great individuals and organizations like theirs that we can do what we do,” said Jeff McDonald, Executive Director of Impact Emerald Coast. “In May we were able to support a large group of elementary school age students by providing new shoes, clothes and haircuts, largely due to the generosity of Nathan and his team. We have only begun to scratch the surface of the true impact we can have in this community. I am excited for what the future holds!”
