OPTIFAST MD Helping People on Their Journey to Combat Obesity
 

OPTIFAST MD and Pacific Rejuvenation Medical launch new program, My Journey, which identifies the underlying cause of weight problems, providing safe and effective treatment options.

LOS ANGELES, CA

OPTIFAST MD recently launched a program aimed at helping people fight obesity called My Journey. The program was developed by Pacific Rejuvenation Medical, along with Virtual Health Partners and Nestle Health Services.

“The My Journey program is geared toward people that are too busy to see the doctor, and can be very beneficial,” said Eduardo Santiago of Pacific Rejuvenation Medical.

My Journey includes board-certified physicians with over 30 years of experience, behavioral/lifestyle/nutrition education classes available 24/7, live one-on-one physicians, nutritional education, and an E-Store. The store offers a variety of items, such as vitamins, energy drinks, shakes, soups and energy bars.

“The typical program consists of three meal replacements, Vitamin D, an appetite suppressant, multivitamin, and weight loss injection,” noted Santiago. “It is your personalized online weight management companion.”

My Journey helps people be accountable to something outside of themselves, which can help to keep weight off, strengthen one’s commitment to change and celebrate their success. Reminders and customized tips keep people motivated, and a periodic self-assessment to capture progress.

“There is a timeline to allow you to track mental and physical progress and outlooks,” concluded Santiago. “It also lets you know when it might be time to visit your OPTIFAST Practitioner. This is a chance to visit in-person to go over questions and any needs you may have.”
