RE/MAX Realtor DeLisa Rose Rises to the Top 1% in the Nation

This places Rose in the top 1% of real estate professionals throughout the country. “Awards and recognition don't mean much to me; however, the platform to bring about social and economic change and to help the masses means the world to me,” said Rose, who received numerous other awards this year including Hall of Fame, RISMedia Newsworthy Realtors, 10 Shades of Success Trailblazer Award, Community Partner of the Year Award and Top 500 in Texas.

The National Association of Realtors reports that there are approximately 1.3 million Realtors in the U.S. But unlike the average Realtor, Rose uses real estate to bring about social and economic change.

“Think about the underlying reasons for many of today’s issues, especially in this political climate,” added Rose. “The problem is lack of money; think about the world we could live in if people had money, had money to secure great education and if parents who raise future leaders weren’t stressed, living check to check. Right now our country  is divided over who pays for the services and people who don’t have money.”

“We don’t have a black and white problem. We have a green problem, posing through racial lines, and real estate is the key to wealth and the resolution to many problems that exist in our country,” noted Rose. “The public often misunderstands the true job of a of a Realtor. People believe I sell and show properties; this is so far from reality.”

As the Ambassador of Real Estate, Rose has a fiduciary responsibility to protect and represent the best interests of clients when they transfer properties and build their estates and real estate portfolios. “Their money is on the line, their family is on the line, their financial security is on the line, their legacy, their lifestyle, dreams, future and peace of mind are on the line,” stated Rose. “The community has a major stake in real estate ownership. Homeownership has several benefits for families and communities. Crime is reduced, education and financial strength are better and homeownership also has mental and emotional benefits. Our Country is on the line.”

Rose despises the sales aspect in real estate; she values people before profit and derives inspiration from knowing that the more people she helps, the more money she makes and the more she can help others, which is evident in all she does. Rose is a major donor to Feed the Hungry, a Community Partner of the Year for her support in international disaster relief efforts, and an advocate for neglected and abused children.

“I also build luxury-style affordable housing,” she concluded. “I saw a need for quality affordable housing and began to answer that need by contracting with the City of Dallas to build and develop affordable housing in the most underserved and neglected communities.”

Ninety-seven percent of Americans name owning a home as the measure of success, the American Dream. However, less than 41% of African Americans own a home, and less than 55% of other races. “If I can educate the masses on how easy it is to own and invest, then I can continue to make the world a better place. This year I am giving $219,000 towards first time buyers,” concluded Rose.
