Realtor Melissa Conrad Touts the Merits of Living the Florida Treasure Coast Dream

Florida native and real estate Broker-Realtor  Melissa Conrad, of Atlantic Shores Realty, examines why the Treasure Coast of Florida is the place to buy a new home.

Furthermore, those who work in Stuart, Palm City, Port St. Lucie or Fort Pierce can take advantage of its proximity to the highways to get to Orlando in 2 hours, West Palm Beach airport and City Place in 45 minutes and Jacksonville or Tampa in just over 3 hours. “The Treasure Coast offers an ideal home location that places you close to major cities but far enough away to enjoy peace and serenity without the noise of a large metropolis,” added Conrad.

Additionally, Florida has numerous parks where all ages can enjoy walking, jogging, biking, swimming, snorkeling, SUP and kayaking or just relax watching wildlife. A few of the many parks are Florida State Savannah Preserves, with its numerous nature trails and scenic tours; Leighton Park, at the base of Palm City Bridge, which has amazing scenic views; Jock Leighton Park, which has a skatepark and a playground; and many other parks with playgrounds, basketball courts, racquetball courts, and tennis courts.

Fishing is also a popular activity, as well as hiking, biking and horseback riding.For shopping options, you can head to numerous locations on the Treasure Coast or the nearby city of West Palm Beach.

“We are a typical Florida coastal community. The reason we are called the Treasure Coast is because of all the shipwrecks,” concluded Conrad. “I am here to help the community because I live in this community and I worked through the crash so I am just helping to rebuild.
