This year’s National Small Business Week theme is “Dream Big, Start Small”

National Small Business Week is slated for May 1-7, 2016, and this year’s theme is “Dream Big, Start Small,” with national events planned in Washington, D.C., New York City, Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix and San Jose and Oakland, California. Every year since 1963, the president of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, recognizing the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small businesses, which represent the “quintessential American ideals of hard work and ingenuity,” stated President Obama in last year’s proclamation.
